Paula Villabonna recognized leader in the Architecture, Art, Interior Design and Construction industries, with 20 years of experience. Her outstanding skills such as creativity, visualization, leadership and innovation have led her to work with high-end commercial and residential projects in main cities including Cali, Bogota, Miami, New York and Caracas.
Founder of D-Essentials Inc., a company with 18 years of experience located in Hollywood, Florida dedicated to offer fine Architecture, Interior Design, Planning and Project Development Consulting services. As an Architect and Interior Design Consultant, Paula’s work is characterized by modernism, visual expression, sophistication and quality. Her extensive experience in multiple fields has given her a wide and complementary outlook on every project she has worked with.
Paula Villabonna believes functionality is as essential as design. Her vision lies between art and design within objects in a context of contemporary design; her main interest is to find challenges and new perspectives. As Project Director at Costa Hollywood, Paula has been the main Designer and Project Director for the Condo Resort by coordinating every consultant and subcontractor planning, directing, organizing and controlling every aspect of the project. Moreover, she is responsible of maintaining the original concept of the project and turn it into reality. Paula certifies the functional analysis of it. Her main attribute has been ensuring the correct development and execution of the project while performing strategically and efficiently to accomplish the established goals.
Paula holds a Bachelor in Architecture and a Master Degree in Interior Design from the University of San Buenaventura in Colombia, degree homologated by the Florida Atlantic University in Miami, Florida. Furthermore, she studied Arts for two years at Instituto de Bellas Artes in Colombia.
Alejandra Gomez
Interior Design Consultant
Having graduated from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale majoring in Residential Design, Alejandra works very closely with the client to understand their needs and tastes in order to achieve their desired results. Her passion for design and her multicultural background helps her to achieve the end result by combining different styles and tastes. Her concern of properly understanding the needs of a client and making their dream come true makes her attention to detail her primary focus. She strives to make the whole process as efficient and enjoyable from start to finish.
Marly Cordoves
Accountant
Marly graduated from Libre University in Barranquilla, Colombia and is certified as a tax preparer, and is QuickBooks Desktop & Online proficient. She provides financial information to management as a result of research and analysis. As an accountant she prepares reports for both management and clients and, takes control of the costs and expenses for the projects. She is also responsible for the billing and collection of the services provided by the company and maintains control of the company’s finances. She provides the customer with precise information of the costs incurred by those projects. She is always supports both parties in a timely fashion while at the same time providing information for proper decision making.
Leonardo Sandoval
Architectural & Interior Design Consultant
He has extensive experience working on Interior and Millwork Design. He has been a leading force in the design. His keen interest in properly understanding the needs of a client and transforming those needs into a built form are accentuated by his attention to detail and his ability to diplomatically communicate any issues. Leo’s varied work experience has given him the ability to understand each project as a whole, and to master the complexity of its details. This expertise allows him to find optimal design solutions to meet his clients’ objective.
Ilan Cohen
General Contractor, Sun State General Contractors
Certified General Contractor with 20+ years of experience in the Residential and Commercial market. Ilan earned a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from the University of Florida. Oversees operations for all construction projects from start to finish, he is responsible for managing project financials, schedule, safety, and quality. Works closely with owners and the design team to integrate the design, pricing and constructability to accomplish the client’s goals.
